Esther Darmanin

Esther joined Sousa Law in December 2022 after completing her MA Law conversion at the University of Law, having previously obtained a degree in Criminology from the University of Surrey. Before pursuing a legal career, she gained valuable experience working in Market Research, developing strong analytical and communication skills that continue to support her work with clients today.

After returning to university to follow her ambition of becoming a solicitor, Esther completed her training at Sousa Law, where she developed extensive experience across a broad range of family law matters. As a qualified solicitor, Esther specialises in divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements, as well as having experience in other areas of family law, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, protective injunctions, and separation of unmarried couples. 

Esther is committed to supporting clients through what are often complex and emotionally challenging situations with empathy, clarity, and practical advice. She has a particular focus on resolving matters constructively and aims to keep cases out of Court wherever possible. As a qualified collaborative lawyer, Esther is trained to work with clients and other professionals in a cooperative, solution-focused way, helping families reach amicable agreements that prioritise long-term wellbeing.
